Roof cleaning is really important to keep your roof healthy. A good quality roof should last minimum of 20 years and can last as long as 50 years. But unfortunately, on the West Coast with all the moss and algae growing, your roof might look like it needs to be replaced after only 10 years.

What will happen when you call us?
The first time you call us, we will ask you a series of questions and either give you an estimate over the phone or schedule a free quote with you at our earliest convenience. When you schedule the appointment, you will receive a convenient email confirmation in under two hours which includes the date of your appointment, the time of arrival of the crew and a price confirmation.
Once we arrive on site, our technicians will come and introduce themselves. Our team leader will walk around the property with you to confirm the scope of work and the price before we begin. If we see anything extra is needed, you will be informed right away and we will NEVER charge you any unexpected extras.
There are two ways to wash your roof, low pressure or no pressure. Both methods start the same way. We make sure all the trees, plants and shrubs will be protected. We setup up our ladders with stands-off to protect the edge of your roof and gutters. If we need to walk on the roof at anytime, we also setup our temporary anchor and lifeline.
No pressure cleaning
No pressure is usually used on asphalt roofs with low moss growth or on old roofs.
The process is pretty straight forward. from the roof line, we use our softwash system to apply the chemicals. We can control the cleaning solutions and apply it up to 40ft away.
Once the roof has been saturated, we let everything dry until mother nature washes it. The sun will cook every living organism and chemical so when the rain comes, the run off will be neutral and safe for plants or pets.
For heavy moss growth, we might need to comeback on a second date and reapply the solution a second time. This process is safer for the roof but might take 2 to 3 weeks before your roof look new again.
Low pressure roof cleaning
Low pressure is used on cedar shakes or if you wish for your roof to look new the same day. As we have to walk the roof and wash every inch by hand, this process is much more time consuming.
We start the process the same way, we apply a cleaning solution from the roof edge to help lift the dirt and algae first. After a short dwelling time, we start from the top and make our way down, wash with our "pressure washer" dialed down to only 200 PSI to prevent damages.
This is a much more hands on process and if your roof is on the older side, it might not be recommended. The best way to find out is to give us a call and we can give you a free quote and our honest opinion if we can save your roof.
